And got 71-80% with my 4-door Cutlass Supreme. Who knew such a normal car was so jalop?

Wow! The manual Subie wagon I used to own only got 6-10%. And somehow my '06 Sierra rew cab, my '74 Buick Apollo, and the '04 GTO I used to own all tied at 21-30%. Fun quiz, but a bit ... off

Indeed. Although mine might score a bit, as it's a rare Brougham Sedan with the canadian-only Chevrolet 305 V8.

That's the same score I got with the Ranchero, which with multiple carbs/ throttle bodies, "camino-ized", over 50 years old, high uniqueness, front mid, etc. should have gotten something impressive. On the old Jalop score, it hits nearly 500.
Maybe Oldsmobile is a really massive plus? Low points for unibody?

BOF and post-malaise era probably helped, along with defunct brand and not all body panels the same colour (the closest I can find to the original colour is Dark Garnet Red).

I got 11-20% with a Diesel hatchback. :<

Was it a golf?

A lot of the difficulty in making a good system for this is properly cross-tabbing everything across categories. Unibody is nothing special, unless it's a unibody truck over 50 years old. Then, it actually *is* a bit
It's the same with RWD: it should be worth more in mid-90s cars, probably. The scale also currently doesn't have weighting for weight class of the vehicle, or engine swaps/shenanigans. That's where my abomination really shines.

21%-30% with a 2003 Nissan Maxima. Woot woot.

I'd say a Brougham 305 Olds is pretty Jalop, but others are kinda wonky.
Automatic 97 volvo 850 glt got 21-30%
Previous car, 96 V8 Thunderbird, was the same.
My wife's 2010 Sonata got 6-10%
The Hyundai is more or less accurate.

It's also funny because a camino-ized RX-8 with a turbo kit only gets 61-70%

It's a 2004 Diesel Corolla E12. Just tried looking for a picture to give you an idea of the general shape and found this . I should do that, too.

Yup, those are available as diesel hatchbacks, alright!

The Phaeton got the same exact score.

Then something's wrong.

My 09 Silverado only got a 10%

Hows that? my lincoln is essentially identical to your car based on the questions and we would of answered pretty much the exact same answers. and I got 6-10%.
EDIT: just realized your car brand doesn't exist anymore and that probably boosted your points.

I just made up a car with a rear-mounted, air cooled radial engine with 600 hp, made in France. With sliding doors. Got 100%.

Dead brand, not all panels are same colour (some weird olds-only colour vs. Dark Garnet Red). That's about it.

Yeah, that's probably it :)
